Truth great guy.
However...just to give you a heads up my "guts" would never work inside of Ipearls fob. I ended up going through the ebay guy and it works great. Don't want to say anything against Ipearlg as he is a great guy but the plastic quality of ebay fob is a little better. (I have both just couldn't ever get Ipearls to work)
Others have had NO problems though so take this as you will I am available for Pm's if you have any further q's

I'm planning on completing this project in the next couple of weeks.
One thing (not sure if anyone has mentioned this in the thread yet): Use your VALET key to get the transponder out of. I recall reading earlier in the thread that someone was wondering why his key didn't have the little "tray" to pop out with an exacto to access the transponder chip instead of having to away at the entire key. Valet keys have the tray, standard ones do not.

i got mine from ipearlg today and i just finished putting it together, it works great. I just had the local locksmith do the key, they charged me $2, didn't feel like making the drive to the nearest home depot or ace hardware.
I also noticed that the valet key is the only key that has the removable chip, so i used that.

Question: Does the switchkey case have to be for a 350z? I was looking around on Ebay and found these for under $20 shipped but it's for a 200sx.

I'm thinking it doesn't matter since we put our own transponder chip in it anyways, but I'd rather check w/ the experts first before I make any purchase.

i got the switchblade for the hell of it and its pretty good in my opinion. its solid and it doesnt feel cheap.
you can just email ryan at r.karnes@yahoo.com
he's the guy i got it from.
as for your key, i believe you have the valet key, if so, theres a tray for the chip. and you can just pry it out.
