Cool Dash Lights & Digital Gauge Pod Quit After Theft

2003 350Z coupe manual, someone broke the driver window and stole the aftermarket radio and sub amp. I was driving without it and all of a sudden the dash lights quit completely and so did the digital info pod. Anything I need to do before I install my new aftermarket radio and amp?

Check the connections on the white control box behind the A/C heater controls, this box also controls the gauge clusters.

Yes- the white control box is easily removed and you should check both the connector and the ribbon wire itself. Also check the fuses for the instrument and gauge panel.

Where is the dash light fuses located, the descriptions I have found for the boxes are extremely vague.

It would be helpful if ALL the problems were stated concisely in the beginning. Anything else to add?

Sounds more and more like a damaged control module. I have a different issue where both my turn signals come on anytime I turn on parking lights. I just ordered a replacement module from ebay for $30, cheap way to troubleshoot further.

Radio was stolen, tail lights would stay on alllll the time until I unhooked the battery, was driving home one day and the dash light quit along with the digital info readout in the pod but at the same time the taillights started working normally. Going to hook up the new radio this evening.
