This unit is from my non-bose 05 350z and it is the best and most convenient way to listen to your ipod outside of buying an entire new head unit. The installation is very straight forward and simple. Unit also has connections for AUX output but i never used it. Everything is working perfectly and in like new condition. I am not sure if this unit works with a bose nissan head unit so maybe other members can chime in. The PA11-NIS has no wire splicing or anything done to it.

I looked on google and it said that pa11-nis is for 03-06 nissan which included 350z bose or non bose....
I could not find info on te steering wheel? Can you use the steering wheels options while playing the ipod and does it charge the iphone 4s?

 

The steering wheel options should work but i cant say for certain since i have a base. If another member has the answer i would appreciate it. From my experience when hooked up to your stock headunit i was able to control the ipod functions through the Head unit without having to use my ipod to control anything.

I am not sure if this charges the iphone 4s because its new.

 

I used the PA15-NIS which is the newer version. The only buttons that will work on the steering wheel is volume up and down. I have a second one right now in my 05 Pathfinder and the result is the same.
