New spacers are on.... 25mm rear, 15mm front
Hello guys,
I have put the rear spacers on already.. they are 25mm... and they run perfectly and look perfectly! I think it is because of the offset of the ray's wheels, so we can be able to run those spacers nicely without having any problem.... the wheels look JUST NICE, don't have the feeling to sticking out... and also I move those 15mm to the front, they look just as great....
The handling wise... well... can feel a bit of difference at the front when I turn.... just A LITTLE bit.... and they turn great as the original one....
Here are the pics:

cheers,

ps. if you are interested in those spacers, can send me a PM, and I will tell you where about can you go contact the guy to have those made!!!

They are around 700 dollars for everything, but I think you might be able to get a cheaper deal somewhere.... those parts... but not including labours.... as I said, they are just a simply DIY job! But you might need to wait for roughly around 7 to 10 days for those to be made up!
Zdster:
Before and after? mmmm... let me see if you can see from here...

I reckon that you should really put the spacers though because I was actually thinking about changing my wheels... but the more I think about it, the less I feel like to change, due to the financial factor and also I still love those Ray's wheels, since they are really designed to suit Z cars... give me a call if you are interested in those spacers (check your PM), you should be able to get a better deal...

It was like that already even without the spacers.... this car cambers A LOT.... and it wasn't that obvious because the wheels weren't out.... and now it was quite obvious from the rear.. but not the front.... probably also due to the design of the rear wheel guards as well...

I think every Z car is designed to be like that with that camber angle... just check out yours, it will be the same. It does not matter if that's with or without the spacers on the car, the tyre contact area with the floor will still be the same.

thanks for your warning zuffy... but honestly, when those spacers were not on, I couldn't be able to tell the rear had any camber at all... just like the ZNISMO at Melbourne motor show.... just until you get your spacers installed, you will know the "effect"...
I also had a look at the photos of Ray's car that he posted earlier... it has the same amount of camber as mine car... just simply take a look at his thread... or here is the pic...

as we two haven't modified any chassis setup yet... so that's pretty accurate to tell the amount of camber.... since the spacer WILL NOT affect the camber at all.... because it just extend the hub out with the same angle...

Here is another thread that you guys can go have a look.... people actually pay extra money to adjust the stock setting camber to not as "negative" though... but that's after you have dropped the car.... you can see the original car cambers quite a lot there...
