Default Servicing Costs

You have to ask the price before you book in - would you buy ANYTHING else with a blank cheque.? It just doesn't make sense to just leave your car in the hands of the Philistines and not expect human nature to influence the calculations.

When I bought my Z the service dept gave me a written undertaking:
1. Free extended warranty if the car was serviced with them only, (6 year, certain conditions)
2. Total cost per service $195. (Incl parts and oil and labour)
RYDE MOTOR GROUP
However, since that's 160k's from Newcastle, I service locally - and took an extended factory warranty which gives me choice of supplier - addl 2 years for $840 - ie 420 per annum.
Since all my personal chariots f/u out of warranty, I reckon that's cheap insurance. Also is a nice sweetener for resale value "caus it's transferable.
Current costs of service:
5000k $69
20000 $130
Can't find 15000, wife says was just over $100
I SUPPLY MOBIL 1 IN EACH CASE
Each service done at different shop to find the one I like best.

Do you like my seats? $700 all-up.

They look great!, wow 700 bucks thats cheap. Was your cars interior black to start with and you just have the orange inserts done? Or did you have it alll redone??

How much oil do you need to buy for an oil change? And what spec oil did you use?

Like it a lot. Don't know if the same theme would work as well on the other colours.

Yeah - the lot.
preserved the black as original since its detailed in orange.
BTW - the seats were ORANGE as orig equip - the black effect is DYED OVER, the upholsterer tells me.
Other colours following - red, bloo. You'd use orange for silvafros car (!).

IMHO it's made a VERY bland interior into much more of a sports appearance. Got the idea from those otherwise fugly oilburners - whatsits names - rx8?

Just going thru my service book - "change engine oil and filter every 5k !
Does Nissan have shares in an oil company or something?
Even my air-cooled, tractor engined Harley goes 10000k. And my Ford Exploder also.!
Nathan - what's the go? What seemed like economical services times two presents a different situation altogether.

Ottonove - just the armrest done - it's super easy. Evidently the padded unit juts clips up and off.

Yes, all the "black" leather is orange throughout and surface dyeing to the front achieves the black/gold effect. The rear or insides of the leather is orange.

'Told yers that sunset is the best colour - that's y instruments, leather and brembos are all colour-cordin8ted to Lemans Sunset!

WHEW! See wots on at the creek today.
