I considered that but Greddy have apparently issued a warning not to use the eManage timing harness on the Zed which basically makes it a fuel only solution which isn't good enough IMO.
Landros from Hitech mentioned that people are having a hard time cracking into the ECU of the AUS zed. There is an ECU available from Techno Square in the US (unsure of reputation of company). http://www.technosquareinc.com/350z.htm From what I read quickly it is a upgraded ECU (flashed) that has a modified fuel map, ignition timing, raises rev limiter to 7100rpm, removes speed limiter and modifies VTC for a linear 10HP gain. It is not customisable for specific applications, eg turbo uses, but they offer a "custom tuning service" where you can have them tune the ECU for different setups. My point is, obviously they have managed to hack into the ECU to do this sort of work, and curious why nobody has cracked into the AUS zed yet, given that the interfaces on the ECU are most likely identical.
I dont think this is the case, the real reason would be because the market in the US is MUCH larger than it is here. So the drive for someone to crack in the ecu and sell to that market is alot larger than to crack into our market and only sell a few reflashes which only work on one type of car.
