Helping out the EOC group! Check them out!!
""Hey everyone!! Well, we took "The summer" off, and a little more, and now it's time to get back into it. Is everyone ready for some good old fashioned EOC goodness? Well, it seems that a lot of us have been tracking the cars quite a bit in the interim and that's exactly what we're looking for! So, it's time that we get back to it.
This is an initial announcement of the EOC/SoCalEvo Event #3! Back to the Streets of Willow (Configuration/Direction still TBD). The date is Sunday, November 28th with the usual driver's meeting/class the night before (Saturday 27) at the Inn of Lancaster. We will be mixing things up just a tad for this event. Not too much, but just enough to make things interesting, especially for previous EOC participants!! We have set an initial allocation of 40 spots, though we expect to have a little more interest than that considering the break and the fact that November is premium track time (nice and cool for them tires and brakes!!). Based on 40 cars, the price for the day is $200. What???? "$200...you're joking? I can go to another event for $150 or less"....
40 CARS!! (should I explain again how much open track that is??)
EVO's ONLY (with typical "EOC friends" exclusions) - NOW DOS NOT APPLY!
INSTRUCTION INCLUDED
TIMING INCLUDED
LUNCH INCLUDED
EOC T-SHIRTS INCLUDED (Designed by the one and only SoCalEvo Slacker)**
TIME TRIAL EVENT INCLUDED
OTHER (REALLY INSANE!!!) GIVEAWAYS and AWARDS--UM..FREE
**These shirts will be EOC participant specific. We will be making available different shirts for those who want them, but the shirts given out at the event will be long sleeve (for future use at the track!!), and you can't get them unless you go!!
For those of you that have been to one or both of the previous events...you know what to expect. Except this time we are opening up a can of "Whoop-***" on those events! We will need your feedback on whether to run Cw or CCW, as well as whether or not to include the bowl (we are seriously considering including it, if the majority of the experienced drivers want it). We are also tweaking the time trial event quite a bit for those of you who have been to either or both of the previous events. You will want to see what we have planned.
For those that have not been to an EOC event, or have never been to the track before, but always wanted to go...this is the perfect opportunity. Top notch instruction (in car, and night before classroom) is included in the price of the day. We like the phrase "Think you're fast? Come kick some ***", but we especially like "Think you're fast? We'll make you faster". We will be augmenting the school portion a bit, so those taking advantage of it will be getting even better instruction than previous events. You'll get to learn to drive that EVO faster than your typical run to church and the Sunday brunch without having to look over your shoulder to see if Ponch is walking around the collection plate! We are serious about safety, we are serious about teaching you proper car control and race line techniques, but most importantly we are serious about making it fun!
More details will be announced as the event draws nearer, and some will just be flat out surprises on the day of. The EOC website will be updated shortly with most of the new information and we will post when it's good to go. Also, make sure you attend the Oct. SoCalEvo meet this sunday as we will be raffling off a FREE spot for this event! If this sounds like a good idea, but you'd like to hold off until a later date for some reason, come out to watch. We may just make this day an official SoCalEvo meet for November as it's on a Sunday and right in line with the current schedule. Start listing up now...you've been warned, don't miss out! ""
