Who needs Koni's for the Track???
Are the Yellow Koni's necessary for the Track Model? Was looking at them on TireRack and they don't list them for the Track - they do for all the other models.
I've read that the Track has different suspension settings than the other models.

suspension is the same for every trim level in a particular model year. IOW, the Track's suspension is the same as the Base's suspension. Now the wheels, brakes, diff, vdc and such, that's a different story.

I have the Koni 8241 Sport shocks on my track model and recommend them highly. The rebound revision to the OEM settings makes a significant difference to how the power gets put down at the track. As the above post correctly states, there was no difference in the suspension settings for the track model vs. any of the other models (much to my disappointment).

I might have some slightly used Koni yellows for sale if anyone is interested. Might be switching to double adjustables?? Still waiting to see if the rules allow the threaded bodies or not. PM me if you're interested.

I've only done 1 test at VIR with the T2 Springs and Konis (springs didn't come out 'til late last year) and I've done about 5 races on the konis with stock springs. Let's keep in touch if you might be interested. There's nothing wrong with them, I just might be changing to a threaded body double adjustable. We'll see.
Take care,
