Default Packwood (Seattle) National Tour

It looks like it's going to be interesting...

...Steven Hui's Porsche 968 will probably be there, with Steven and Ron Bauer at the wheel.

...Joe Goeke has sold his S2000 and got himself an RX-8.

...Mark Sipe is coming up to co-drive an RX-8.

...Ralph Elder is signed up, but he isn't driving an S2000 -- unless he switches to A Stock, but he drove an RX-8 in San Diego.

...oh, and I've already signed up -- and talking to a few potential co-drivers...

As much as I'd love to go. I think I'd just be cannon fodded in B-Stock. I still don't have enough seat-time to be competative with some of the names listed above. Maybe next year.

And I do???

I wasn't going to name names, but to find a co-driver who has already won an NT this year...

DriveSolo, if you're complaint is you don't have enough seat time, don't turn down an opportunity to get more seat time!

I've been to many a National tour where i've not faired well, it's part of the learning.

Yup, I agree with Christopher and Glenn. National-level events take everything to the next level, so they're fun and exciting even if you don't do well. Don't bother waiting until you're "ready" before trying one; you're just depriving yourself of a fun learning experience.

I think that you might be getting close to enough seat time when you show up -- and everyone else just says, "give him the trophy, he's going to win."

I agree with Steve, if you don't go, you won't know how much fun (or sometimes how frustrating!) National Tours can be! Hey, I drove over 2000 miles earlier this year just to place "not last," but it was a fun time!

Also remember, even six-time world champions can be beat.
