I head up Thursday night and will finish up Friday morning. I have a photo pass so hopefully I'll get some good Z shots. I am friends with Jason & Rob in T2 and Greg Ira in EP (240Z). All race Saturday. Head home Sunday. Probably will miss BJ aka dwnshift in the SRF race. His is the last race Sunday afternoon.

That was great to watch the timing as it went threw. I like how the bottom of the screen shows who has moved up to what. Congrats Rob!

Do you think there is some sand baging going on here. Or was the track condition not a plesant as the practice.

Not sure. It is probably warmer than yesterdays practice. Hopefully Rob can continue to get the car dialed in. I hope a couple of more 350Z's will get up there too.

Looks like a pretty good mix of different marques in the top ten. Rob is looking good to be on pole after the first day! Glad to see former Runoffs Champ Bob Schader got his Z up and running after suffering some issues before the Runoffs. It'll be interesting to see how the Hoosier runners do vs. the Kumho 710.

Mark- can you give us some idea of what the weather conditions are like once you make it to the track? Thanks for all the reports!

Wow, some very fast times this morning. Dave Schotz (Camaro) pulled in a 1:38.341 followed by Chuck Hemmingson (STi) .024 seconds behind. Rob qualified 4th today, but still remains in 3rd overall.

I would think third on pole would be better than second, I am thinking I would follow 1st threw the first few coner as to have track position advantage.
