Thanks for posting. I found the same near perfect cross weights both times my car was on the scales.

Is the alignment with the driver in the car or just the car itself?

Since there is some debate about the weight of early v/s late Zs, I'll post the weights of my '03 Track.

No driver, 3/16 tank of fuel (30 lbs?), no tools or spare. The only options are the side air bags.

TOTAL....3118
LF...849
RF...886
LR...697
RR...687

Let the games begin.

Yes. That's before shocks, bar, or the Ti exhaust. The shocks are a couple lbs heavier, the bar is about the same, and the exhaust is...well...54lbs lighter than stock.(assuming the stock is really 65 lbs) I think the car is around 3060 right now.

My 03 Enthusiast in last year's prep weighed in at 3075.

We now run a full tank of gas instead of completely empty, we've changed the front bar, and now have a TI ypipe with a 3" exhaust system back. I'd guess in our '06 configuration we'll weight in around 3200. Mainly due to the difference in running 1 gallon of gas and 20 gallons.

What benefits do you see from running a full tank versus on the light?

More weight over the rear wheels, leading to less inside tire spin, though it's not fully solved, it does help the fact that our diffs suck.

Hmm I see. Do you run with the spare tire inside then also?

I put my car on the scales yesterday while at a HPDE and it weighed 3420 lbs. with me in it, and a full tank of gas. Spare tire and everything else was removed.

I was also pleasantly surprised that it's already corner weighted.

Why would you use a liquid (gasoline) as opposed to leaving the spare tire (solid) in the back??? Fuel slosh would deter me from running with full tank, if I wanted weight I would go with the spare..... possibly because the fuel is lower in regards to the center of gravity by a little?

If the tank is full slosh should not be an issue. In the Corvette we did the same thing, pulled the spare and ran a full tank.

What he said. We've also got the car setup loose enough we can get the back and to dance a bit if need be.
