That was a great week-end !

Kolia, I think I see my buddy in the C6 ahead of you. Did you get a pass on tape? I'd love to get footage of that.

Kolia, Awesome video and a nice piece of driving. Do you have a harness bar with camera mount? If not, what you using for the mount?

Not sure If I did catch up with the C6. I’ll look into it tonight. I’m having a hard time getting the tapes on PC since I’ve lost my handycam charger… I’m driving around with the camera and car charger every day to run on batteries at night… I lose all my stuff all the time…

Do you have the link for the thermal strips and paint?

Thanks. I’m still working on my car control. Finally made some advances (I had been on a plateau all season prior to LCMT).

I don’t have a harness bar. I have a “camera bar” that uses the child safety seat anchor. I’ll post pictures of how it looks. We have a few spares to make more of them. Let me know if you want one. Should sell around 100$.

I’ll get the telemetry added soon and post more footage.

Sorry, forgot to get you the link. Both can be found here.

Be careful when ordering the strips. You can either get a wide-range, low fidelity set (like the ones I have) or you can specify a narrower range to get more precise numbers.

I would be interested in the "camera bar", obviously it passes tech inspection. I was thinking of getting the BCR setup, but the car being my DD it's hard to justify the BCR.

What will you be using for telemetry? I was looking at the GPS box.

Could you post some pics of your camera bar? I'm curious about what it looks like at the mounting point, what the arm looks like, and where it physically places the camera in the car. I'd consider buying one from you if I like what I see.

Thanks!

Here is the bar we've made.

Right now, we can make one more with the material in stock.

If more of you guys want one, we'll get more tube bent.

I use an I/O Port camera mount with an anchor strap. The bar bolts into the child anchor weld nuts. Plenty strong for a camera. NOT to be used for a harness bar!
