Thanks for clarifying about the hubs. I have an 03 as well. Are you running 275/35/18 615's on all 4 corners? Did you just get 2 sets of LM GT4 rear wheels (for front and back)?

The front hubs were revised in '04 but I haven't heard the final word if they reduce the knockback or not but I'm willing to try anything.

As far as the Falken RT-615s go, I don't drive that fast But in all seriousness, I believe most people overinflate these. When they first came out, on Falken's website, they had an application chart showing their recommended camber and inflation values. I've followed those recommendations with good results. FTR, 275/35/18 front 1.5 neg deg @32 psi, rear 2.0 neg deg @30psi.
Brian, you're faster than you think!

I also have an '03 model. I have found that hub knockback seems to be track dependent. If there are a series of hard corners, or right-left-right (or similar) transitions, the knockback is worse than if the corners are long sweepers without serious changes of direction.

BTW, I have NOT had the same knockback issues with my Rotora brakes as I have had with my Stop Techs. There is still a small amount, but not to the extent that I had it with the Stop Techs. I found this very interesting, but don't have a good explanantion.

I agree on the postings regarding the Falken RT-615s. I tried many pressures, and the the best ones were what Falken recommended on their website (32F/30R). Great at first, but they do get greasy after a few laps. (I am running 275/35-18 F / 315/30-18 R)

Good to know about the Rotora brakes. Are they just front or front and rear? What wheels do you have for those size 615's (width & offset)? Do they support the TPMS sensors? Does running that size tires throw off your VDC? Any fender work required front or rear to get those size meats to fit? Are you running the same neg camber front & back as arizzee?

My Rotoras at 14" front and rear. Check out this thread to answers to those other questions regarding the wheels/tires.... Yes, they support TPMS sensors. No, my VDC still works fine, but I turn it off for track use (too restrictive). My camber is actually a little more in front (closer to -3 degrees)

Correct, I've been running 275/35/18 on all corners using 18x9.5 30mm Nismo LMGT4 rear wheels on all corners. I really liked the setup but I'm going the same route a knight_white99 with 315/30/18 in the rear and stay with the 275/35/18 fronts. I'll be using SSR GT2-H wheels (18x10.5 43mm rear, 18x9 31mm front). I need the extra rear meat with the added torque of the tt

PM me if you want to sell your LMGT4 275/35/18 setup? I might be interested.

You'll like this setup, Brian. It worked great at Buttonwillow!

I'll be at Firebird Raceway on Nov. 24th for a ProAutosports track day. Will you be going too? I see that they (ProAutosports) are going to allow ANY car to compete in their Corvette Time Trials, both this time and in 2007. Hmmm... time to show some Vettes my rear bumper!
