I see a few 350Z's registered for the North Eastern R32 Club HPDE at VIR on the 20th of this month. Anyone from this forum going?

Nope never been to VIR before. However I've got two time trials under my belt along with about a half a dozen track days at Summit Point and Beaverun.
We(three BMW guys and I) are cruising down to the Sleep Inn on Sunday from northern VA if anyone wants to tag along with us.

If anyone needs some 285/30 x 18" Kumho track tires call Rob Hines at 703-989-1536. We have some one weekend take-offs and possibly a set of new tires. Take offs run about $300 a set and new at 10% below Tire Rack. Tires are located in Arlington, Va. You pick them up or pay shipping. If you pick them up i'm sure he can give you some advice on how to go fast at VIR.

They are indicating all groups are closed, but I believe they were still looking for additional instructors...

Here is a link to a caravan thread with some of the BMW guys. The plan is actually to meet up off of 95 South at the Route234 exit around 9AM and depart by 10AM. http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum...d.php?t=618515

i keeed, i keeed.. I'm amolaver's brother and am pretty psyched for the event (first in a while, and first in this miata).
Hopefully this doesn't violate any forum rules, but I also wanted to offer my company's printing services for anyone taking (or buying) photos at the event. My company Gallery Street is a fine art reproduction house where we digitize artwork then reproduce it for artists, galleries, publishers, and retailers world wide. For the fine art stuff we use a digital scanback camera (~390 megapixels!) to get high enough quality to make huge prints like 48x60s, and giant murals, but with the modern DSLRs we can print up to a 24x36 with files from your camera!
We offer everything from a lighter weight poster paper to luxurious glossy textured canvas prints suitable for framing. All with bright vibrant colors and incredible quality.
It's hard to describe how great these prints look, so I'll let the samples speak from themselves at the event. Both the amateur and pro photographers should try and take a look.
PM me with any questions, or to tell me to be quiet
