I was just at Laguna last weekend. I can't wait to have our Time Attack at this track. This will be our biggest and best event yet. I'm so ready for this event. Not sure if I can wait until NOV for it.
Supercool (Chris),
For the Laguna Seca finals, isn't that an invite only for the people who placed in the previous Redline Time attacks this year?? Like an invite only? Like how Super Street and others do their's? That would be cool I think.
Either way, see you at Buttonwillow, AND Laguna Seca.

With the rental cost at Laguna Seca I doubt that enough people will show if you only invite those who placed at previous Time Attacks. Thats a long trek from where all of the other events are, even the SoCal ones.

We will still have an open to the public TIME ATTACK at Laguna.
But we will also have finals for any and all teams/drivers that have competed in all the west cost events and east cost events. We'll have special awards for those who have done well through out the year for each division. A time attack grand champion for 2007 will be crowned at this event!
We will continue to invite all who wish to race with us. When we started the Redline Time Atack we told everyone that our events will always be open to the public at large. We want our grass roots drivers and teams to be able to compete with the larger more established racers too. Even if some of our guys can't be completive in the actual time attack, it's still good from them to come out give it a go. Besides, sometimes the single lone driver with this track prepared car can give some upsets to the more experienced and better teams out there. It's always nice to have the opportunity to do that, and that is one of the reasons why we'll always keep it open. I think that's what TIME ATTACK is all about.
1/2 off topic - Hey Chris, do you have a package that you present to potential sponsors about the Time Attack series? If you do, can you email it to me? I would love to include it in my sponsorship package so potential sponsors that may not have heard of the series can get an idea of just how much advertising potential there really is. My email is my username (sincity350z) @ gmail.com

Hey Steve, PM me your email address....
We just moved to a new email server, perhaps that's why you're not getting through to us.
That's okay, John. I'll drive your car there for you, and the day before at the CFRA event, too. I've just registered for both, booked the hotel, etc. Dont' worry, I'll be gentle with it!
BTW, check your PM.
I'll see the rest of you there. Woo-hoo!
