This is scary. I am in the process of putting my car together. I noticed the RF brake line is starting to do the exact same thing. Basically the metal piece is either expanding or the rubber is shrinking. The gap that it created eventually opened up on the LF and the rubber hose on the LF started flying. If you drive your car hard, please do take a look at it. I dont know how well you will see in the picture, but just be careful

 

Well, I showed my gfriend the video and she says "Wow, that looks exciting!"...of course she meant the first 15-20 seconds or so. She even started to say "that looks like fun. maybe you should do a few track days". When she saw the dust and subsequent pics of your caliper she says, in her thick filipino accent "Not a good idea Colin. Not a good idea at all."
