Ohh and I know better than to use the parking brake after runs.
Braking style on a race track has a lot to do with how pad material is deposited on the rotors. Two types of braking styles are especially prone to uneven pads deposits:
1. Hard brake application that gets into the ABS.
2. Medium brake application that gets into the brake slowly and then pops off the pedal.
And in 16 years of racing I've never had a problem with e-brake application (on those race cars I've driven that had e-brake) after an autocross or track run and none of the folks I've raced with have ever mentioned a problem. If you drive the cool down lap as you should (cooling the car down), e-brake applicaiton shouldn't ever be a problem.
