New Motorsports Brake maker
Just as a heads up, BHP Brakes will be releasing motorsports and Autox/Performance pads in the next few weeks. The first released models will be for the NA Miata and 350Z Brembos. I haven't tried them yet, but the developing engineer is the same guy who developed some of the VERY popular track pads used here (names withheld to protect the innoc...well, everybody).
I'll post my thoughts on it once I give them a try.

marty......I have non-brembo brakes so when they push a set of those out if they need some feedback let me know. happy to punish a set of pads at VIR or where ever needed.

Yes, I did.
For clarification, I was using the Club Racer compound, which is for lighter cars. There is also a PR compound for cars over 3000 lbs or pure competition. (Matt, Correct me if I am wrong). When the brakes were green and I was bedding them in the night before Rockingham, they were a bit grippy and engaged the ABS fairly easily. I was thinking they were fairly similar to the hawk blues, but a little bit more linear. I was concerned about rotor wear, but I liked the stopping power.
The first session of the event the BHP’s were cold and so were my tires. I took it easy for the first few laps. As the laps progressed and I got some heat into the tires I started to press the brakes harder. This was on Falken 615’s. The brakes proved to be linear and predictable. I could engage the ABS easily, but I could also modulate it with pedal pressure. At no time during the session did I get any fade.
The next two sessions were on Toyo RA-1’s, including the Time Trial. I new there was going to be a lot more heat in the pads and watched for gas out. Even though I got the pads quite hot and could smell them after the hard 20 minute sessions, they were still good. The remained linear the whole time and had enough power to engage the ABS on the R compounds at the end of each session. In between the sessions I left to go get gas and felt the hot pads on the street. They felt no different than hawk HP plus with regular braking. No hard grips and other not so friendly behaviors that track pads have.
Last night I finally got the car off the trailer and took the fronts off to check how things were. My track wheels are dark grey, but it looks like the dusting is minimal, especially for organic/carbon compounds. My rotor wear with the Beck Arnley was minimal, about the same as with performance street pads. The pads themselves seemed to held up great with the visual inspection. I will no more once I pull the pads off, but it looks like I will get a lot more time out of these than the hawks I have been using.
Matt, thanks for getting these to me so quickly. I look forward to my next event with them.

good info....can't wait to try a pair.
non-brembo here!!!!
actually speaking of that... i have a great chance to try these pads out next month. I am headed to VIR for a members day and actually get to run the GRAND Course which is something like 4.2 miles long. Its the big one... be perfect for a test day with these pads and a R compound tire.

It might be a while (early next year) for non-Brembo pads Bill. And I will not likely make our PR1 compound in that shape, only CR6 for track days.
Thanks for the review Marty. Ryan with his 240 had similar things to say. He and a few others will autocross them this weekend and let me know how they do. Judging by how they feel on the street, I think they'll be great.

hopefully by that time I will be running a BBK of some sorts. Good luck with everything. You have Miata pads? My dad has a 01 SM I am sure he may be interested in something as well. Right now he runs the HP Plus, but always looking for something better.

he is still in the process of building to a SM. Right now he only does some track days, HPDE's, whatever he can get into. He is pretty new to it all so i don't think he is over powering them at all.
Congrats on the new company Matt - best of wishes with it!
I'll keep you guys updated on progress of 350Z stuff. The PR1 compound is already availible for the Brembo calipers. I hope to have the CR6 compound on a test car soon (although I'm 99.9999% sure it'll be great!)
Great stuff, Matt, it's always good to see a budding entrepreneur!
I have a G35 coupe w/ brembo that I track often, and would be more than happy to provide additional feedback/reviews on your pads.
I will be hitting up 2 events at Summit Point (both circuits), and 1 at VIR over the next 8 weeks, so let me know if I can help!
