I know some of you attended the 2007 MazdaDriverS event, here are some pictures from it. I finally found the time to put it up.

I was at the October event, lots of fun and a good learning opportunity in the wet. Had a LOT of skid pad time too =)

Good job on Saturday, saw your car a few times. You were one of the faster car in your group. I clocked you between 2:04 to 2:06. There were very few cars that were faster than you in your group with the exception of the red Z06, the blue STI is close to what you are running.

Thanks, but are you sure you have the right person/car?? The reason I ask is because I really thought I was going slow. I usually run RA1's, but having rained the day before, I left my Avon A/S tires on ... and with the rear down to the wear bars they are waaaay uhm...not fun...haha.

But I guess 2:04 is a reasonable time; I had a 1:48 with Kumho MX a couple months back.

What is that datalog from?

If you drive that black G35, it is probably you. I didnt see you Friday, saw you only Saturday.

You did 1:48 without the pit straight, that part is worth about 13-16 seconds...

Datalog came from my p-box

Yeah I was the only black G35 there. Well thats cool!! I was out on Friday too, although going really cautiously.

Mind educating us on what a p-box is, and what it can do?

I am sorry, but I didn't stay out in the rain and cold to clock you guys or take pictures I also had two students to instruct, was running everywhere.

You did great, keep up the good work. 350z on RA-1s should be capable of 1:58-1:59. You have a G35, so add let say 1-2 sec. If you can get below 2:02, you should be golden. I saw you following the 911 turbo around in this one session, let's just say he didnt embarass you like he did with others. It is funny to hear that your car made no noise compare to his, of course 500awhp helps....

Pbox is just a GPS datalogger. It logs your position and lap times. It's pretty cool. It's basically a g-tech using GPS rather than acceleratormeter. It's a cheaper version of something like the traqmate. You cant do as much as the traqmate, but it will get you the simple things like lap times, g-forces, datalogging maps, 0-60, 20-40, etc.
