I picked up a copy of High-Performance Driving the other day. Very informational. I believe its the first one. It has an orange GT3 Porsche on the cover. Definately a good read for new track goers. Its the first mag I have ever read from cover to cover.

Not all places carry the same thing, but it sound like it's worth a try.

 

I think I got it at a 7-11. I was on vacation in Orlando and staying at my inlaws. So I needed some entertainment.

 

It is a good mag with lots of quality info... been out a while though...

Seems targeted more towards novices than experienced drivers -- most of the latter know what an apex is without watching a DVD.

 

Oh wow, July. Thanks for the link. Definately good info that does not become out dated.

 

It starts out with beginer techniques but goes into more advanced driving later in the mag. I learned a few things and I've been on the track quite a bit. It kijnd of refreshes the more experienced people I think.

 

That, and it was just one issue... hopefully it will continue, presumably with articles geared towards all levels.

The orange GT3RS belongs to my friend John. I believe it was at a hookedondriving event. I got a chance to ride with him in that car a couple months ago at Thunderhill Raceway. My Z felt like a slug afterwards :-(

I heard that the magazine will be a single publication only.

have you guys ever checked out grassrootsmotorsports (GRM)? it's a great mag for track goers as well. you get a free subscription if you're a NASA member.
