Default mid-ohio crash

Just saw these pics from a Z driver who wrecked at mid-ohio recently. Apparently only sustained a 'bump to the head'. Wow! Said brake failure, wrecked at about 95mph.

Great pics of this tragic accident, glad to see the structural integrity of the Z car let this driver live to race another day.

I was hoping you guys wouldnt see this. He must have totally lost his brakes or had the throttle stick wide open or both. My comment on another site was HOLY S***.

The cage looks like one by www.rollcageguy.com who doest great cages, hes located in the Akron, Ohio area.

Holy ****! Someone had a high speed camera at the right place, at the right time. That roll cage definitely saved his life. He went thru a barrier fence like it wasn't there and stopped on a secondary fence. Heck, emergency crew had first hand look at the accident. Is he a forum member here?

Anyone have any other info? What turn? What event was it? Was it a race?

Inquiring minds want to know.

Yes. I've seen him at Waterford a few times. Not sure if that is the driver that helped me a little with the line there. I saw his post on the waterford forum with the link to these pics.
Amazing, spectacular, scary, crazy, lucky..

Hey, I just noticed in the pics the hood crumbled as designed to do. Only thing is I thought it was supposed to break free from the car to avoid injury to the driver.
