The SCCA has changed pricing for National Tours and if you want to enter for the $90 entry fee you need to do so before 4:00 on Friday, 2/27. After that the entry is $130.

Hey Mike, are you gonna run Houston? I really wanna go to the Houston Tour, but I don't have a ride lined up just yet. I have a sway bar I can trade you for it

 

Too late, I bought one like it from Strano because I liked the feel of your car at Nationals. Adding the bar really made a difference to the turn in. Josh began hitting cones because of it until he got used to waiting. Josh did an Evo School this weekend and Robert Carpenter really liked the feel when he drove it. I've compared video from last year and the car is much flatter through the curves.

In the Sunday autocross I was only .7 behind the BSP Beast Z of Brian F. I figure anything less than a second was good on a 40 some second course.

Can't make Houston. Wedding that weekend for an old friend's daughter.

I'm leaving work Thursday and heading up, so I will be in Dixie by Thursday evening, hopefully around dinnertime.

 

There will be T-Shirts available at the event. Make sure to bring a couple of extra bucks to get one. I have heard that the availability may be limited so get one as soon as you can. They look pretty cool.

 

Please save a spot for our trailer and car. We aren't going to run the test course this year so we don't plan to get there until 5:00 PM on Friday. I've been getting up way too early this week with autocrossing and business trips.

Congrats to Ruggles (TractionCircle) on the win in BS driving Fossum's RX-8. Josh Cavanaugh was the highest finishing Z in 4th.

 

Jason really liked the RX-8 and it showed. The Sunday 1st run was a second faster than anyone else. Jim might have to re-evaluate letting Jason co-drive his car.

 

May not make a difference as Jason was test driving an '09 the other day...

As RX-8's aren't flying off of dealer's lots right now, he should be able to pick up a new one for a very good price...
