Default stainless steel lines?

I'm looking for some lines and want the Stoptechs. I BELIVE (please correct me or push me in the right direction) I want a line that is not only teflon coated on the inside but the OUTSIDE as well correct?

Also, on Stoptechs site they have 2 "kits". On the bottom of each it says good for autoX but not recommended for extended track use. Welllll....is a HPDE considered extended? I wouldn't THINK so, but I'm also a noob. Help.

A lot of people are using the stoptech lines and I have yet to hear anything bad about them. I don't think it really matters if the line has an outer protective film.

I heard the teflon on the outside of the brake line helps insure that no road debris somehow get caught in the stainless steel braid. Which makes sense...

But, I am the noob and thats why I'm here.

Bingo

I run the Stoptechs and havent had a single issue with them, even in Ohio winter snow and road salt.

thats an odd statement. autoX-s usually run a minute or less where HPDE's are 20-30min. thats what? @ 250% increase in time? i'd ask them directly to see WTF they mean by that. im curious now also.

i run HPDE's and autoX on my street driven Z and havnt had issues with my goodridge lines at all.
