OP, if you're looking for an all-out straight that LEGAL to do, I suggest entering this:
http://www.texasmile.net/
It's the closest thing you'll find to what you're looking for. Most tracks don't have a long enough straight to get to those speeds safely w/out having to brake hard at the end.

OP - what tracks in California do you go to? Some we frequent are Thunderhill Raceway, Sears Point Raceway, Laguna Seca Raceway (Monday - woot!), Buttonwillow, and Big Willow.
With LOTS of HP, I was only able to hit low 140s down the big straight on Big Willow. Part of it may have been the pucker factor and the sharp left 90 at the end, but 160+ was still FAR away.

I hit 176MPH at Sebring on the long straight entering turn 17. I had 565WHP It scares the **** out of me braking into turn 17 since I trail brake the entry. I passed the ALMS Compuware GT1 car on that straight. But That car can brake much later than mine and the speed he was able to take turn 17 was insane.

I hit 140mph+ on streets, no tracks around here. Damn what a rush, zoomed by a parked cop he didn't even try. This was on a hwy in the mountains, out of town of course, so only endangering myself and maybe the pine trees around me haha. The car was so slow to accelerate at this speed, but the turns and hills probably didn't help.

Actually it does happen. Mine hit 160 where the speed limiter stopped it. But it isn't a "track" but it is a controlled event.
It's called Texas Mile or Big Bend Open Road Race.

I would like to know what track you can get a 350 up to 169 MPH on.
145 mph Turn 8 at Willow Springs big track - 140 mph at the end of the front straight. Traditionally Turn 8 is the fastest part of the track at WSIR.
FYI... all of the above are speedometer numbers so they are probably high by 3%?

152 mph exiting Turn 2 at the Cal Speedway Roval just before braking for the 90 into the infield. That was with a pro driver behind the wheel. My speed was about 140 at the same spot. I didn't have the ***** to not lift into Turn 1, even though I saw Erik do it repeatedly, lap after lap while I was riding passenger. Basically stock 2006 350Z with 285/30-18s, shocks, ARBs, OS Giken LSD, custom bushings, and a few other things under the car.

As I said above, traditionally Turn 8 is the fastest part of the track at WSIR. You have a much longer distance to accelerate from the apex of Turn 5 to the entry of Turn 9 then from the apex of Turn 9 to the entry to Turn 1. In most cases you can keep your foot to the floor all the way through Turn 8.
