Well I bleed after each track event with Motul 600. I don't want to spend $100 on fluid. I am going to try pads again and see what happens.

with the money you spend bleeding after each even, and buying new pads, it might be worth it to just try a better fluid in the first place - overall, less expensive, and you'll be getting stuff that is better than what you're currently using, and lasts substantially longer. No need to bleed your fluid after every event on a street car. Heck even on our ITS cars, which are race only, we change fluid only 1 x per season.

the cost may seem expensive, but it's definitely worth the investment. you don't need to flush the fluid after every event.

x2, no need to flush the system, but bleeding is absolutely necessary before each event. Besides very little fluid is lost from this.

While Fooshe and I don't always agree...I deffinately do on this post. With your current car and tire set up a good set of pads and decent fliuds should be fine. With the amount of heat you are seeing I would recomend having an instructor take a look at your overall braking times, brake pedal application, and maybe even free foot placement. These are little tweeks all of us need to keep working on no matter how experienced we are.

Fooshe really did a good job of summarizing it though.

I am working with Carbotech for some pads right now. I wonder if he carries the fluid you guys mentioned. I will ask him.

Two pages of thread about brake fluid boiling and not one person has mentioned getting air to the front brakes (I apologize if I missed it)? Run some ducting! Much cheaper then anything else proposed here so far... :-)

That is the plan as well once I find some to use. But it is not a air issue as I have bled and bled the brakes.

Oh Geez!

Cooling air to the center of the brake rotors. Look here:

I misread what you said. I thought you meant air in the lines. LOL!

That is exactly what I want to do there and my bumper is designed for it. I just need to figure out where to get the hose and what kind.

2.5" diameter will works, 2.5" aluminum pipes and weld an aluminum flange... betamotorsport did a great job.. probably less than 100$ in materials including the welding... I'm checking the clearance in the back of the brembos

The stock Brembos are used by the T2 350Z racers so I tend to believe they will work. They do have a brake ducting kit allowed. I think Rob uses Carbotech pads.
