Default 2nd track day video

I ask a lot of questions in this section, so i figured I would share a few laps form yesterday. These are the first 2 laps on our 3rd session so everything was about to melt.

Car ran extremely hot (top of the sweep range but not to the H). I shifted around 5300-5500 to keep it as cool as possible and stayed up a gear in the tighter stuff. That seemed to help a lot with the heat. Good news is after replacing the Clutch master / Slave cylinders and going to Motul RBF 600 my clutch was solid all day.

I have a Koyo as my only cooling mod
The car has a Greddy kit on it

Fun. Looks like the blue 350Z in front does NOT want you to pass.

I'm glad you are finally enjoying the car Jason. Was the blue car boosted too? Looked like he was pulling away from you in the straights.

Thanks man having a blast in it!

Nah bone stock more or less. I was running on 5psi and short shifting the car to keep it from heating up as well as staying a gear taller. So when I would want to be in third going onto straight, I would stay in 4th to not heat it up.

heat soak always seems to be a problem with boosted cars on the track. It can be solved but it's always an issue to keep in mind. Glad you had fun though.

I can see how the track got its name ...

No corner workers? No run off areas? ... NO PROBLEM!

So, I will aks this question. Do you want some pointers/advice from others about your runs, or just wanted to share?

I am sure many will make comments and other statements no matter which you ask for.

Pointers would be great.

The track is not the safest place in the world I agree. Unfortunately, it is all we have down here. It isn't as bad as it looks in the video, but I agree it isn't the the most ideal setup. There are 4 corner worker spots with 2 corner works in all 4 locations.

It is pretty grass roots, so there are not a lot of volunteers.

That's certainly better than nothing... looks like the overall speeds aren't that great either. As long as everyone on track is aware of the risks.

Please tell me they at least have fire/rescue and/or an ambulance on site

Thanks. The car had become a garage ***** for the most part until my wife asked me to sell it or at least drive it.
