Going autoxing again this Sunday so hopefully it'll give me a chance to start playing with tire pressure.

Before I was running roughly 37psi hot all around. Maybe I'll drop the rears down to 35 to see how it feels.

Another comment I got from one of my friends is that since the tires I'm running now were purchased used and the previous owner autoxed a lot, they may have been heat cycled too much to where they're just super stiff with no real traction. This kinda makes sense too.

I just wanted to thank you guys (especially axelerate and Laze) for all the great info. I finally got my dedicated track setup and can't wait for Sebring next month!!!

I had a hell of a time finding the wheels as they are on national back order but I was able to grab one of the last sets around directly from 5Zigen...great guys over there. I was also able to find a great deal on the R888's...275/40.
I see what you guys mean about the low clearance of the front uprights. So since you guys have tracked this setup a bit now, I figured I would ask. Should I worry about wheel flex and possibly touching the a-arm? Should I get spacers and if so...which would you all recommend? If I don't need to worry about them, that's fine but I figured you all would probable have input for me.
Thanks again for all your help...

I usually run a 5mm in the front, because I have it.

You could put a piece of tape on the uprights and after a session, jack it up and see if any of it has rubbed off. I don't think it will hit, but it can't hurt to check.

Also, where did you get the tire deal???

Got the tires here...

I'll probably get the 5mm spacers just for piece of mind. It does look damn close and I'm concerned about wheel flex.

I run 3MM spacers with stock lugs/studs...if you go with a thicker spacer, you will likely need to change out your lugs/studs.....

I don't remember...let me see if I can find the paperwork....but they are not much $$

As usual, just Goggle "3 MM Wheel spacer".......you will need 5x114.3 pattern, and an center hole large enough to fit over the "concentric hub"......

anybody know what size that is????

Those look better...thanks.
What would I do without you guys
I take it centering rings wouldn't work with this setup anymore?
