Default 255/40/17 four corners ok for track?

Hi, I m looking for a set of rim for track, choices between 5zigen FNO1RC 17"x9" or 17"x10".

I did some research that there are some rubbing issues for 17"x10", but I dont see any about the 17"x9".

Should I get set of 4 17"x9" +15 + 255/40/17 RT-615?

Thank you

17x9s are ok for most 275s, but a Hoosier 275 should be on a 10" wheel. I run the FN01R-C 17x10 +25s on all 4 with 275s. The rears have a lot more room, the fronts are snug, but I do get a touch or rubbing on the fender liner. The 275 Hoosier is wide though, hence why it has to be on the 10s.

I'm running 17x10 +25 FN01R with 275/40/17 Khumo XS and have no rubbing issues at all. Stock suspension.

I lowered my car by using tanabe gf210, Thinking about to get -3/-2.5 camber. Some people say you have to ad a 10mm-15mm spacer at front because the distance between the tire and control arm is paper thin...

got my spacer information from this thread:

Thank you

I run a small, either 3mm or 5mm, shim spacer with my 17x10 +25 set up. Some people don't, but it was very close without it. It's certainly TIRE width dependent with the 275. That was me commenting about the clearance and posting pics. The 10-15mm spacer suggestion was for the rear since Solidsnake wanted a flush look (non-track) for the rear. The 17x10 +25 rear is in pretty far, hence why it could take a little more rubber.

Camber won't change the distance between the tire and the control arm. They move together unless i'm missing something

I can get away without spacers because a 275 width street tire is not as wide as a 275 race tire. Scotts300 is running hoosiers which measure much much wider than street tires (a 275 hoosier is probably a 315 street tire) which is why he needs spacers and still rubs.

Just test and run a spacer if needed imo
