So what belongs to those Nissans requiring them to have an apostrophe s?

Anyway, it's cool to see lightened N/A Nissans out there mixing it up at Redline. If it wasn't for the piggyback computer restriction in the enthusiast class, I'd go out, too. I would have to yank my UTEC and get a Technosquare reflash to compete. Why? Who knows? Rules are rules.

Maybe in a couple years. Nice cars, gents. Way to represent.

Sorry to hear you can't make it. Just a heads up though, you can still compete in the enthusiasts class, if you'd like, however you just wouldn't be eligible for a trophy.

Just unplut the Utec, its not that much of a power loss. Power isn't what wins in the enthusiast class, its driving skill and suspension tuning.

BTW the 3.5 inch ride height rule may own you.

I am about 99% sure I won't clear the 3.5" rule and I can only adjust the front +/- .5"........it's a bummer.

True, 10-15 HP isn't going to matter that much. Is the 3.5" clearance measured from the bodywork or lowest hanging point on the car? Buttonwillow is amazing- I wouldn't mind going back again. I did a Redline T/A in '05 or something. It was when Rado first started testing his tC.

My bodywork will clear if I remove the front rock/mudflap thingies. Just need some Star Specs.

Lowest hanging point......I think terrasmark had to switch y-pipes to clear the mandate (along with raising the car).

Lowest point, my flanges off the cats and flex joints on the Y pipe were a major PITA, i was running a 275/40-17 front and rear, I had to raise my car over stock ride height to clear.

This event i swapped to a 275/40-18 rear tire , and strapped my pass side y pipe up a little heigher. I will pass tech no prob, i feel like focusing on driving instead of wrenching this weekend.
