Is anyone going to Beaverun with NASA June 26-27? I'll be there. I don't see too many people on here from Midwest. I just thought I would ask. I almost never see Z's out at my track events. I need to see more!

 

Its been about 8-9 years since I was last there.....fun little track.

 

I'm pretty new to the road racing stuff. I just started at the end of last summer. Like most of you, I was addicted after the first time. I have only done Mid Ohio and Putnam Park. Several times for each. I think it says on NASA's webpage that this is their first time there in 4 years. It looks like another small track like Putnam from the videos I watched. Can't wait to try it out.

 

Some refer to it as a glorified go-kart track.......you can get some speed though from what I remember. I was in a slow car back then though lol.

 

Don't they have two go-kart tracks on site there at their complex? From the videos I watched, it looks like there are a lot of high speed kinks. We'll see how it goes. I'll probably post up videos on youtube.

 

I just meant in the layout.....I think I was running 1:11-1:12 in my stock powered gsr integra way back when on only my 2nd or 3rd track day. Last time I was there they only had one go kart track.......but that was a while ago.

 

Oh I gotcha. Well I sure hope I can beat your Integra times. We'll see.

 

I am pretty sure a hopped up scooter could have beat those times lol. The same weekend the mugen rsx ( I believe it was speed world challenge at that time) series car which was running 1:02-1:03's.....thing was nasty fast. Looks like t2 record is in the 1:05 area.....T1 is 1:00. Good luck though.

Traffic is an issue there though......just like any small track. Hopefully they appropriately size the groups.
