Nissan FINALLY has a 350Z brake duct!
How about not making it aluminum or thick plastic so it can be sold at a better price point or at least a more complete kit.
No need for CF for such a small piece and if its for looks it doesn't even fit the bill since it is something unseen (Don't need bling for a functional piece that will not be seen)

your making too much sense...
you'd be an idiot to buy this piece...no disrespect at all OP...
C'mon really $300
after looking at the pic I'm sure I can have a shop recreate it for half the price...

You know the old adage... if you can't afford it... don't.
1 racing tire is $250. 1 set of good brake pads is $350. 1 350Z that's over heated it's brakes going into a turn is worth...?
The great news is for people that track their cars, there's now a solution for keeping their brakes from overheating.
For those that don't need it, there's no need to spend $300 bucks. Win-win for everyone!

spliter $15.47
sheet metal (enough to do this 3 times)$40.68
figure $10 in screws and hardware.
thats a final price of $84.48
Lol, at whoever thinks they are making a spindle duct that will fit that well in a Z hub for "a lot less."
Kudos for finally bringing this to the community. It only took us eight years but I guess better late than never.

Meanwhile there is 1 person who needs this part in the thread so far... They know who they are.
In the quantities these are made, plastic would make it more expensive not less as plastic costs a fortune to develop moulds for. Aluminum works but limits the shape of the spindle duct and also gets hot with extended use. I am sure they used carbon for a reason and it's not so it matches someones hood. It's light, easy to mould, can be done in small batches and lasts with rock and debris impacts. Can it be done for less as a DIY? Sure. Alot less? Debatable once time is factored in. Will it be as complete and finished looking? Show us

But that claim suggests there is no way to cool your brakes without it...
I think its a nice product, and I am glad one is finally available, however I am happy with my zip tied ducts.
You mention Nissan offering the "incoming" ducts for the grill? Do you/anyone have more info on that? Thats something I am still trying to solve.
