I'm trying to go with as large of a square setup as I can get away with. Why not? Car destroys rear tires and would be nice to rotate, I would also like to try a square setup from all the good I have read.

You should be running between 11.5" to 12" wide wheel to make those fit and perform better. What kind of suspension set up you are running?

I run a 315 on 10.5 RPF. No problems

^ I have that in the front and 285s for the rear. I've run 285s in the front, too, but you need good bit of camber and/or the front fenders pulled.

Hey guys, new to the forums. My first instinct was to come check out what you guys like as far as track setups go!

I looked around quite extensively but couldn't find a definitive answer. What do you guys recommend on tire sizes for an NA z33? Seems like a majority run 265mm widths at the minimum front and rear. Are most of the engine setups here NA? Please share, it would help me and I hope others greatly thanks

I run a 275 square setup and it's a lot of rubber for mine with only intake, exhaust, and plenum spacer.

Some of the guys like Scotts300 have said that anymore then 285 for NA street car is overkill. After going 275 i tend to agree... and i'm on hard cheapo rubber until summer.

I have bolt-ons and 315's on all 4....true story. It feels under-tired at times in autox.

265 to 285 is on target for roadcourses, autocross seems to need more mechanical grip. I currently run 285's and am dropping down to 275's for the next set of tires.

Since joining the forum, I've seen a lot of your insightful information! Your car looks nuts! Hope to join some of the guys on here in STU in the next couple years.

Thanks for the input guys, appreciate it. Was worried about understeering issues with wide tires on a mostly NA. Coming from stock tire sizes, I'll try upping to 265 all around.

Mods currently are: Lightweight flywheel, 3.9 final drive NISMO diff set to 1.5way, and Greddy exhaust. The final drive and diff are quite enjoyable

New setup is 17X9 Enkei RPF1 with 255/40/17 Maxxis RC1 tires. Saving a bundle on tires.

i am sure u mean that at a stock power level an at a higher one say 400hp at the rear a larger tire would be useful
