But I bet they are not running a Dayum Wavetrac during testing
and ya, 30 minute restriction kinda sux...it is likely limited by the duty cycle of the water pump...but I can't see where this can be all that effective based what I can see in the pics. But Good for Nissan at least addressing the issue of Diff overheating in all Z models.
BTW: I have my traditional style diff cooler setup "mocked up" and in the car, need to make hose and some more fabrication...more to follow...with pics

He is another SCCA guy coming over to NASA...I just reached out to him last week as I "heard through the grapevine" that he was coming to Road Atlanta in Aug...be didn't hear back from him.
Yep, that is what I had heard from others...very happy he is racing in NASA...and I know he's gonna kick my butt every race...but the contengency $$$ will help ease the pain!

I fixed that for you " How many more wavetrac failures will it take before NISSAN allow a real diff in this series?!?
I didn't realize Nissan made that rule, thank you for correcting me. I assumed since the series is run and sanctioned by NASA that they had control over the rule book but understand that sometimes keeping the sponsors is important.

+1 leaving differential open to any brand would be the best, but I'd understand if they had to choose a single brand like Nismo, OS, Cusco, etc.. anything as long as it's not the wavecrap.
