And the WWR 240. with 450 rwhp and weighs nothing.
So my *** is grass. I am just hoping to keep things respectable.
And yes I took all the supports out because I am running hood pins. It's super easy. Just angle grinder. Cut. Then peel the inside layer off as it's attached with about 100 dots of adhesive.

packed up and ready to go to the shop for a half cage and harness instal.

Arrived,

6 point harness.

Meanwhile back at Sledgehammer motorsports... (The name I gave my garage and basement)

panel adhesive and 120 lbs of weight and overnight.

Not bad. C+ maybe. It got rotated a touch which irks me. But functional and badass.

Your garage would have to be the height of car A and the height of car B plus 10 inches.
Mine are about 11 feet, and stepping up to 13 feet so it's fits easily. You could do it with 10 feet probably.

Brake rotors are oem sized power slot rotors.
Brake lines are the stainless steel stoptech lines.
Just a fun picture showing that the splitter handles nearly 200 lbs hanging off of it no problem. Will be painting it black to go with the black wheels. With the hood and sideskirts the car will be looking a lot better this year. (these are just the backup wheels and the front bumper cover isn't on, it's just sitting there in it's place loose as it was going on and off to check fit)

Also have to put on some decals and the outside is good to go.
Up next custom intake manifold, larger throttle body and new tune. Hope to make good reliable power which is what this car has become all about.

Cant wait to see the manifold! I've been thinking about it too it's not a hard job for a fabricator. Just need the flange and hood clearance. Make it as tall as possible with a larger neck and TB.

I notice that for every time I post in this thread the view count goes up 300 to 400 views. And recently I have been getting maybe 1 reply. So it must have gotten a little boring because I have stopped going into the detail I used to in the beginning.
I recently had my 2014 tuning session with Sasha Anis of Onpoint Dyno. I felt extra pumped about this one because a whole bunch of us from Canada are coming down to a Global Time Attack event at Road Atlanta.
The strategy for this year was to improve the intake side of things to open up the motor a little bit. Of course I always impose budget restrictions on what I am doing. So this can all be done at a fairly low cost.
I bought Sasha's modified oem plenum in the winter with the enlarged neck.

I took it to Cyrious Garageworks and we made as big an intake as we could. Its 3.5" most of the way. This required some bending of the inner firewall to get it to fit.

I was happy to use the NWP throttle body which helps ease another bottle neck in the 350Z DE intake design. It came with a harness, and by pulling a loop out of the stock harness it allowed us to reposition the throttle body a little lower. It's plug and play and no BS.
The rest of the tube is 3.5" aluminum with a 3.5" large cone filter. An UPREV GT MAF in an UPrev aluminum housing welded into the tube completes the package.

If you know someone who can fabricate the degree of difficulty on this is 2/10. Nothing else is complex and it's really just good bolt on power.
I also switched brands of 110 Octane. The brand was oxygenated and that did make a good bit of difference as well.
The results were pretty great really. 30 to 40 hp across the board from my last pull on this same dyno last year with the stock plenum, throttle body, intake tube, and 06 airbox with K&N filter.
