So here is to 3 consecutive time attack championships.

I have to find some new ways to challenge myself. I am not sure what avenue that will take. The Z is not the the class of the field by any means. It's a clunking brute/ mean son of a *****. But it manages to win most of it's battles most of the time. There aren't a lot of challenges left in time attack anymore. I could visit new tracks. That would be fun. I could run on slicks. That would be a learning experience. But, I'm strongly considering buying a Radical SR3 RS to run as well. (No the350Z won't be going up for sale. No one would ever pay me what the car is worth to me) The SR3 gives me a couple of easy options to get into wheel to wheel racing. I can enter it into time attacks and track days just for fun. And it will let me go faster which is one of my main concerns. But not in 2015. But maybe 2016.

Things that need to be fixed after a season of racing.

Weird VDC electrical problem
Brake fluid system flush
Windshield
Hood Hinges
Engine refresh
shocks

Possible mods..
new exhaust
rear diffuser
new suspension
slicks

I'm no scientist but from eyeballing this it's not gonna hold at high speeds, but the idea is nice

EDIT:

unless that silver bracket is of a thick gauge

Winter Progress updates.

The engine is being refreshed/ rebuilt. Preventative maintenance plus dropping in some new injectors from Donkey Power. 650 cc. Like all racers I'm hoping for a low number on the dyno, but big power in real life.

It's also getting a new larger exhaust, no muffler.
Should finally sound like this as all the mods should be the same except for throttle body size.

And last but not least I'm finally getting some coilovers.

I'm getting JRZ RS Pro! Very pumped. A local supporter, alphamotorsports hooked me up and pitched on my behalf to get a small partial sponsorship deal with JRZ which I was blown away by and very appreciative. I'll be running JRZ stickers next year!

Thanks to users terrasmak and 03threefiftyz for giving me a crash course in true coilover spring rate selection.

Congrats! How much do those coilovers usually go for without sponsorship?

I was told the US MSRP was $5665.

JRZ is having a December discount so $ -500

Then in exchange to run 4 JRZ decals at events I got an additional 5%off. I was very happy with the deal. That's the nature of partial sponsorships. It's mostly a price break to differing degrees. Except for Donkey Power Injection. I got free injectors and and from here on out I'm on a contingency program. $150 for 1st $100 for second $50 for third. Etc

I decided to go with 14kg/mm and 6kg/mm to start.

We will see how that works out.

Nice, and it may be a good choice. I'm trying 16k up front with the 6k rears and going to back off the front sway bar a notch next.

Gone back to the idea of running a coilover on my car as well...I've been waffling. Probably start at ~19.5k/7k.

I post videos to youtube to try and make race fuel money. And it works. Roughly 38 to 55 dollars a month right now depending on views.

Sometimes they end up somewhat entertaining. I like passing people that don't want me to pass them.
Some weak drivers in straight line fast cars. A GT3 RS and a C6 Z06. Check them out and share them in order to help buy race fuel.

I have hotchkis front and rear. And also a set of stock.

I'll play with them this year and see what's fastest.
