So, THAT's why you guys dragged him in on a Saturday!

Looking forward to seeing them. I'll have my custom full seat travel harness bar in by then............maybe. Working on design #3 & #4.........

Does anyone have brake temp paint? I think we could all learn a lot if we all used it.

Forgot to mention.....thanks for letting me share your space! BUT......I'm not paying a penny more than $58.3333!

Yeah, after seeing the quality of the TIG welds with the Piper Motorsports cage, I was sold. Sure, the x-braces kill storage space, but our car had little to begin with. Anyone have any experience with that flat-tire inflation can stuff? Does it work? We'll need that space since the roll bar eats up plenty.

Dude, the pictures are awesome... you did everyone a great service last year. Hopefully I'll have a camera mount this year so I can turn it backward so you guys can watch John behind me

I'll post this so you can see what kind of firepower I'll be packing

http://204.210.254.150/bridgestone.jpg

Don't ask where I got them. RE540S.

Anyway, I asked John this but the offer is open to anyone going. My place is less than an hour from the track. If anyone wants to shack up here for a couple nights and save a few bucks that's fine. It's small, but a couple guys could fit on the floor easy.

Can't wait!

Oh, and I don't think James will be around for another week or so since he's in Europe still (IIRC).

No, I got back last week.

I can wait for payment on the garage until we get there. Check will be fine, although I also accept MC, VISA, or Paypal.

Instructor training at Summit Point is tomorrow! Unfortunately, it looks like it will be rainy. Oh well. We're good enough to deal with that.

So John, we're still waiting for the big write-up on VIR.

Welcome back James! How was your trip?

There really wasn't too much of a write-up on VIR, but a little post-fun discussion here: https://my350z.com/forum/showthread....4&pagenumber=4

Too busy to write a long report this week...

Quick question before I go spend some of my house money on the car...

Since I've never done a NASA event, do I have to start in group 1? If so, I'll be awfully loney. I have ran MidOhio before, Putnam and Gingerman. Anyone know for sure?

Contact Lawrence Mansier and describe your background. He'll tell you what group he thinks you belong in. Probably it will be Group 2. Group 1 is for rank newbies.

Last year's Mid-Ohio event was my first NASA activity, and going into it I had done about 20 track days. He was willing to put me in 3. As it happened, 2 and 3 were combined. IIRC, I had an instructor the first day, and he okayed me for solo that day.

You can test it out by PayPalling me money...

Sorry, John, I already spent the 2/3 cents!

Joyia, I'd guess it's like Gingerman......YOU decide what group you think you'd feel comfortable in. James suggested group 2 for me.....I'll need to prove him WRONG!

BTW.....when & with what car did you run Mid-Ohio before?

2nd BTW.....Joyia, what are your modeling fees? I need a pic with a BABE.......for promotional reasons.

Thanks for the quick response. I'll send an email this morning. I'm hoping for group 2 then. I just want to catch Bruce in the corners so he can pass me again in the straights! LOL

I did MidOhio in their RSX Type S.

Add me to the sway bar test. Just ordered the Hotchkis sways. I'll also be running HP+ pads up front. This should be great! I can't wait to meet everyone.

Bruce...have you forgotten what I looked like by the end of the day at Gingerman??? Besides, I think April is a little cold for a bikini! But you know, for say... a full tank of gas, we can talk! Check your PM, I've got a couple of questions for you.

Now 2 or 3 days? Hm.

Great, more people coming!

I'll be bringing enough tools to do brake bleeds & pad changes, along with a few other tools. I'll also bring my 4 tire ramps. My floor jack is a back breaker, so I'd rather not bring it. (too cheap to get the Harbor Freight aluminum one.....yet) Is anyone planning on bringing a floor jack?

So, am I the only non-Track Z going?
