Default 2013 Spec Z Rules suggestions

Alrighty Kids, it is time to start Bitchin' & Moaning about rules...

Post up whatever you want, and I will send it to the Spec Z leadership Folk

My Spec Z 2013 rules suggestion in no particular order:

add rule that allow for drilling/cutting hole in rear strut brace to enable adjustments to the top of the Damper without having to remove the Damper from the car

add rule that allow for drilling/cutting hole in front strut bar to enable adjustments to the top of the Damper without having to remove it from the car (in fact you cannot install the KW front dampers without either cutting the mounting studs or making a hole in the strut bar for them to pass through to allow the OEM strut to be reinstalled correctly

allow for 18x10 wheels on all 4 positions

MAKE DE ENGINE CARS BASE WEIGHT 3200

MAKE REVUP ENGINE CARS BASE WEIGHT 3300

MAKE HR ENGINE CARS BASE WEIGHT 3450 AND/OR RUN A RESTRICTOR

Allow for battery relocation to any safe location

That is all I can think of today....

Great thread. I hope we can get the battery relocation mod to improve corner weighting ability.

IMO, the top priority should be to get rid of wavetrac in favor of a nismo or other clutch type diff.

This is one.

My other suggestion for consideration is allow replica-made nismo aero (for non-Nismo editions).

This is only a suggestion for consideration. I think the Wavetrac issue and others are more important.

I'd like to see the BFG spec R1 changed to allow up to a 285/30-18 tire. Won't cost much more, but will be more durable.

I agree with everything so far. Especially for the diff to be open, 18x10 all around max and front upper A-arms.

17 Brake System
ABS delete is already legal...

17.1 Brake System
a) Brake pads are unrestricted.
b) Brake rotors must be the same type, material, and dimensions as OEM. Brake rotors from
alternate companies may be used. Brake rotors may be cryogenically treated.
c) Steel braided brake lines may be used.
d) Disc brake backing plates may be removed.
e) The emergency brake level and/or cables and associated must remain functional.
f) Anti-lock braking systems (ABS) may be disabled.
g) Nissan Motorsports front brake cooling kit part # may be utilized.

I see! However, is brake bias valve legal given that we need someway to adjust the brake bias?
