Yes if you slam the pedal, you must learn how to threshold brake. As you slow down the threshold decreases.

Another day at Limerock in the books.
New PR 1.05.09 SO close to 1.04s

Started off with some heavy rain, but cleared off for the rest of the day.

Car ran great all day, no fuel issues to speak of.

NJMP, Complete wash out. Track was flooded, we never got to turn a wheel. Never seen it so wet there where the track management made the call for closed.

Too far north for me this season brother. I've got dominion this weekend, summit point the following, and then I'm doing helmets off to heros with some Soldiers of mine at summit on veterans day.

I also have a ton of fun playing with FRS/BRZ on the track....kind of sad cause they make half the power at the wheels

Start of winter maintenance. Replaced lower ball joints, they were starting to ooze grease. Better safe than sorry. Z1 kit, perfect fit.
Cracked white line bushing? by mhulbrock, on Flickr

Also, found the whiteline shock bushing has a crack. Seems to go all the way through. Will pull them off and see, but looking like they are not up to the task. SPL time.

Seems like everything whiteline cracks on these cars. I've seen multiple people with rear diff bushings cracks only after a short time

On this forum alone

Thanks for updating this for me Blurvision. I watch your thread a lot. I didn't know white line bushings were an issue for heavy track use. Good thing only did the Lower trans-link. Looks like ill go SPL myself in the very near future

Yea, if I knew I wouldn't have bothered with them. Track > Break > Fix > Repeat.

I was class limited to running non-metallic bushings. I would kill the whiteline comp bushings every 3 events (~20 autocross runs).

You started maintenance already? I'm jealous, but I need to get cracking too. Good to know the Z1 balljoint was a direct fit, one more item for the list

No surprise on the whiteline bushings, The differential bushing was garbage and both compression rod bushings have given it up as well.
