Track Day Z Project
That Route should be fine. I came back a slightly different way ( passed by Bellearye MT) on 28. But as long as you go up on the Thruway you should be good. I took 17 up and came at it from the West side which is what made me look up a different way back. Once you get real close to the track there are some hills but those are unavoidable and not that bad.
NYST is a blast! Super fun for a lapping day. Its very technical and almost every corner is blind. Got to learning it as fast as possible. Sunny with intermittent rain made for interesting conditions.
AZP runs a great event, definitely recommended.
Best was 1.46.35
Dad brought out the GTR

Did a line up on the track for some photos

Great fall weekend at Palmer! Was damp each morning and sunny and chilly the rest of the weekend.
Still stuck in the 1.50s
1.57.7 I still dont feel comfortable driving 10/10 here. Way too many walls.
Tow truck upgrade! FJ has been sold.

AH so let me start my saying ive been seeing this thread just grow for the past 2 years(time ive been shopping for my z) and I absolutely love the detailed discussions here, and its really made me want to track my Z.
I just got my z a couple months back.('03 track). plan on getting on a track soon BUT want to do it bone stock first which I am. then start modifying come next spring/summer so I can actually feel a diff.
You guys know of any initial tracks to hit up around the DC/MD area?

NASA Summit Point is a couple weeks away and pretty much the last event before March. Fairly sure HPDE is on a wait list at this point, but there will be 3 or 4 of us running in time trials I'm sure. Fresh repave, too.
Yea im aware of those two. Was just hoping something closer to the area/southern MD/PA area. I don't mind the drive, but was just curious if there was anything you guys knew that doesn't come up on a google search.
Getting to LRP Sat and thats all she wrote for 16'
Here is something I have been working on for well over a year. A quality ABS delete kit.
I designed the adapters and had my friend with a mill make them for me.
12mm > 10mm tee for the fronts and 12mm>10mm reducer with the correct internal flair. All OEM style brake line connections. Proportion valve plumbed into the rear only.
I have not tested this yet, lets hope for the best!
ABS has always been very intrusive for me, and I have driven non-abs cars many times on track, looking forward to see how this works out.

I extracted the ABS computer from the pump and put it back in the OE location leaving the pump out. All the wires plug in for now. To be tested still.

Any more details in how to do the ABS delete + proportional valve install, Do you know if any company are producing it? Did you produce yourself? Do you still keeping the drawings.... I would like to do this on my z33 here in Spain!! I notice Sasha from onpoint dyno has a brake bias adjuster on the cockpit of keels, looks like is the way to go. Any help or recomendation>
