Default Brake pad worn F/R unequal

I use Stoptech ST40 front and stock non-brembo rear with Hawk HP+ all round. After 5 track days and couple autox, I replaced them to ferodo pads. I noticed the rear pads almost worn out however the front may last two more track days. Is this normal and why?

Also want to ask a question for brake duct. I diyed brake duct by using a 3” duct, I was wondering if it is too big to use in cold weather (in Sept/Oct)? Does too much cold air will mess up the rotor on track?
Thanks in advance!

My normal track brake pad wear is about 3-1 (front to rear wear) Meaning you could go through 3 sets of front pads to 1 set of rears.

I think your car has a brake design issue...the rears are working WAY TOO HARD.

And no, you can never have enough brake cooling on the track

Are you leaving vdc on as that causes excessive wear in the rear.

hmmm. design issue? MC and booster are OEM. when I hard brake from 120 to 70, the back of the car felt stable. Do you think if I do hard brake from 50 to 0 and see if rear will lock first will help to tell whether too much bias to the rear?
