Probably cut out the area where the license plates goes to help get some of the air out that pools up back there as well. Still need to cut/gut the headlights and finish the bracing for the splitter. Should have most of the base exterior stuff done by the end of the week. Have a lot still to do with the wiring, a bit more sound material, etc on the inside. Then the very fun task of painting the cage...which I am dreading. After that I will go back to the exterior to figure out the diffuser and some extra stuff for the front.
Suspension:
Penske 8300 Remote Reservoir Shocks-True Rear
1000/450 Springs - To start (Imagine this will have to be bumped up)
SPL Front Camber/Caster Arms
SPL Front Compression Rod, Lower Control Arm and Shock Bushings
SPL Front End Links
Hotchkis Front Sway Bar
SPL Rear Traction, Toe and Camber Arms
No Rear Sway Bar
Whiteline Diff Bushings
Everything starts going back together starting this week. Still have to parse through the wiring and get a bit more of the sound material off the trans tunnel, but other than that it is just putting it all back together and fabbing some of the stuff for the aero and exhaust. WILL be on track March 12-13 .
Nice! So coming to Road Atlanta for the SE/MA NASA event on those dates? I'll be there in the miata in TTE, Cathers should be coming down with his TTB M3 as well.
Probably not. I'll shake down the car 40 mins from home at Summit Point the same weekend. Don't like the idea of dragging the car down to ATL when it hasn't run in 18 months and is bound to have some teething issues.
Not yet, but maybe next weekend. At this point, the pics might be on hold until until it is largely buttoned up. First event is only a few weeks away, assuming it isn't snowed out.

Believe it or not....I have not changed them since I bought the car in 2006. That is a lot of HARD miles in BSP trim. I have spares, but the bearings still spin great and have no wobble. They'll be in the truck if they need to be replaced on site.

WTF! Lucky I suppose, that and nissan developed some damn good hubs/bearings.
Well the rear bearings in my car are shot. No wobble, but it's got a bad noise coming from them that goes with wheel speed and gets louder with load. I think I'm guna do the same route I do with miata(s).... timken bearings/hubs stuffed full of AMSoil synthetic grease.
I've had very good luck with the Nissan wheel bearings as well. I thought for sure after I started running A6s, they would get destroyed shortly thereafter, but I've only had to replace one in 5 seasons of running on A6s. I guess Nissan made a great wheel bearing.
+1 on the great bearings. I've put quite a bit of track, autox, and daily miles on my Z at 176K and I've only had to replace the rear driver's side bearing so far.
