Default Stock looking custom switch to really turn OFF VDC

Long time lurker here. Finally made an account, this is my first post
At a few track days i noticed that even with the VDC turned off it intervenes in long sweepers and if i take the curbs harshly. There are three options to turn the VDC completely off

1. Pull the fuse (but also kill ABS)
2. Unplug Yaw Sensor (kinda permanent)
3. Install a switch (that's what I did)

I found a switch that is advertised for different Nissan models, just not for the 350Z, but it looked so similar that i took the chance and ordered it. It fit perfectly fine in the center console. Not sure if i am allowed to post links to products, will do an edit if allowed.
Anyway, installation was relatively easy. Needed a relay though to have the VDC Off when the switch is on and illuminated. That is not needed, i just wanted it that way. Also this is a switch that latches into position. No need to remember to turn of VDC before every Autocross run or track day session. So many times i have started an autocross run just to realize in the first turn that i forgot to turn VDC off, so I have to do it while driving. Needless to say that's dangerous and slows me down. Now with this switch i turn VDC off in the morning and turn it back on when i am driving home.

I hope this helps some racers out there. Let me know if you have any questions.

Love the label/graphic on the switch.

Good info. I know there's a few threads here that discuss "VDC off for real" but this looks like a really easy/clean way to go.

And yes, a link is fine since everyone is going to ask for it anyways....

Here the link: https://customswitches.com.au/produc...o-suit-nissan/
They are in Australia, so keep shipping cost and time in mind.

You might have also noticed that the colors are switched. They immediately sent me a new one when i showed them. I just haven't installed the replacement switch yet.

I soldered everything. also added a small 2 pin connector for the power coming from the body to the relay and going to the yaw sensor. That way I can easily unplug the Center console if I need to take it out.

I took that picture of the illuminated switches on the bench with a power supply hocked up to only 2 of them. In the car all 3 are working as expected.
