Koni Install and Settings?

Koni Install and Settings?
Well, my shocks are finally coming!
My racing spirit has been rejuevenated! Hopefully I'll be able to install them Friday night or Saturday.
Does anyone have any recommendations for installation procedure? I'll most likely have access to the lift this weekend.
Anyone have any recommended settings? I've got an enthusiast, 245 Kumhos all the way around. No sway bar yet, but a pretty experienced driver.
Thanks

Install: The rears are a nice, easy job. The fronts are tougher: remove strut tower bar, remove sway bar end links, remove lower strut assy. bolt, remove upper assy. nuts, compress spring, work assy. out while use pry tool on lower arm to all the "fork" end of assy. over lower arm... I moved the fork towards the rotor and it cleared the are with a fair amount of leverage being exerted.
You'll love the full soft ride on the street. I just competed in my first A/X with the Konis... I run (B-Stock) 275/35-18 AS304s, a front 350EVO bar on the middle setting (I'll probably go to the full hard setting)... and I torqued them full hard front and back... and to tell you the truth... I didn't find any reason to try any adjustments... the set-up was spot on.

I ended up getting the shocks through my racing business, so sorry to all the my350z members who sell parts!
Thanks for the install tips, I kinda forgot I have a service manual here too, time to print out a few sheets or just take my laptop with me over to the shop.
Anyone else run any different settings than Brian mentioned?

I took 1st place in S2 (BS, CS, ES). Looking at the PAX BS guys, only one would have toppled me. I am very pleased with the set-up generated using advice from this site.

Oh yeah... and some folks, who actually know what they are doing, prefer to disconnect the upper arm from the upright... me? I knew I'd be in the market for a new ball joint (or two), when I inevitably sliced mine with the pickle fork!

Sorry to get in on this thread so late. While the aforementioned tips are helpful for the DIYer, you may want to check out the latest issue of Sport Z magazine (summer 2004). It contains my article on the design, installation and limited tuning tips for the 8241 Koni app for the 350Z.
I hope some of the DIYer tips will help prevent a few busted knuckles and blown brain cells for those who take on this very worthy project.

I doubt I'll be able to get an issue before Friday night when I hope to do the install, thank you though.
I'll be keeping track of settings for the rest of the year on my site, under the project Z page. Hope to help out the next guy who needs setting info for a Z.

You might try your local Barnes and Noble bookstore. According to a note from the "Big Poobah" (otherwise known as the Publisher) SZM will be carried by select newsstands and bookstores. While the Koni article is not published online, try Sportzmagazine.com for more details or to subscribe.

Thanks david for the help. I have the Koni's on, and ran a divisional here in St. Louis this weekend. I'll have a write-up, pictures, as well as video up on my site hopefully tomorrow night!

David's article mentions that Carter Thompson had a lot to do with the settings on these Konis. I heard the same from Gordon at Koni. christoc how did you do this past weekend?
