There is a gravel road that is not mentioned on any maps. Based on Stacy's descriptions, I think there is a very good possibility we will be on or near this road. I have drawn it in red:

ok im looking at the map with the red outlined road... so the tent will be to the left of me once i go on that gravel road?

Mark and myself saw the tent today. My friend and I will try to arrive before 8AM tomorrow to block off some space for people to park there. Several RVs / campers have already staked claim to some of the real estate there, but we should have some real estate.

As already mentioned, as soon as you cross the bridge, take a left on to the gravel road and to up there. We are essentially at the corner of where you would turn in for the North Course cut-through.

does any one have some good pics of yesterday?

i got up there a little late (right before the race started) and didnt bring my camera. the day didnt turn out quite like i thought because they were calling for bad weather i decided not to drive my Z or vette and just rode of there with my dad in his Denali. good thing cause we ran into it sure enough going up there. when we finally got there we watched the race over on the back side of the track where that yellow caddy CTS went off track a little close to oak tree.

i guess the Z's had a so so day. didnt the the highest one finish 4th or 5th? was it the 35 or 33

how did everyone elses day turn out?

I'm sorry we missed you. We kept expecting you to show up at the tent.

John took some incredible pics and said he was going to post a bunch. We're waiting John!

I took my camera, but didn't even get it out of the bag.

yeah i was a little dissapointed a didnt get to bring either car up that was the whole reason i wanted to go, but i still had a ok time.

i was thinking last night about going back today but im just sitting here watching it on speed right now. it still looks like they're having an overcast day.

whos all going down to CMP?

Had a great time. John has some great pics. He won't be home till tonight. It was nice to finally meet some of the guys from the site. I helped crew with BJ's team and had a blast. His was the top finishing 350Z in 4th place. The Performance cars ran 5th & 6th. It was great meeting Jeff & Jason from Performance too. More later.

Thanks again to everyone for coming out... we all had a good time I think.

Matt - do you remember seeing a big green Armada show up just a few minutes before the Mustang caught on fire? (I think that's where you're saying you were). That was us!

Anyway - sorry we didn't get together. But I guess we'll see that C6 in a few weeks at CMP right?

Stacy and Marty: I didn't have a chance to thank you for all your hard work that you invested in organizing this event. We'll definitely have to do the same thing next year again! I had a great time this weekend, enjoyed meeting more of the TZC crowd, and seeing some familiar faces as well.
