I just found out I'm available to come out on Saturday only. Anyone have a Saturday ticket available. I'd hate to have to pay for the whole weekend.

Thanks.

Yea, I had a great time. I hope you enjoyed our little "agricultural excursion." My wife managed to get it on film...

Hey guys - I've been out of town all weekend, couldn't keep up on the forum... those of you in the DC/No VA area, what a beautiful weekend huh? Shame I didn't have my Z with me!

Anyway - still don't know eactly where we'll be yet - I imagine if any of you guys know where a good spot would be, we could request where they put us. Our only experience up there has been on track, not spectating. I think they will be good to us though - we're no Porsche or BMW club, but we do co-host three events up there each year.

I think 11:00 is a good time to meet up - my guess is Marty and Myself will be there a little earlier, but one way or another, we'll have everything ready to go by 11:00.

Unless Marty tells us different, I think we have a couple extra Saturday only tickets if anyone needs one. Email/PM myself or Marty and we'll let you know.

Stacy & Marty thanks for setting all this up. I'll be there both Friday & Saturday early if you need help. Do we owe you anything for the lunch on Sat.?

OK, I'm not sure what you guys are talking about, but I can guess. You've got to be ready to dish the dirt. BTW: Marty took his own little agricultural excursion last weekend on VIR's Patriot Course. Driving Eric's 350Z! Unfortunately, no film.

It took me few readings to get it. You mean the bleachers at the bridge just before the climbing esses, between turns 6 & 7. Yes, that's one of my favorite spots too.

Here's a diagram of the track I have edited in red, showing the area where they have said they will try to put us (no guarantees) plus the viewing area mc350z mentioned.

I've never been there when there have been TV cameras, so I'm not going to be much help there.

I could get access to all the restricted areas, of course, but that would be stupid. I'm going to be strictly a spectator. I don't want Lee mad at me.

We should have "Z PARKING", so we will all be together.

LOL, yeah, Jim decided he wanted to take a stab at being a landscape architect... unfortunately his car isn't low enough to cut grass. I should be invoicing VIR since I've mowed their field outside of hogpen on a few occasions.

i actually stood right to the side of the bridge last year were the VIR sign is. they zoomed in on it almost everytime they went to commercial. i remember when they aired it on speedvision i saw myself a few times
Thanks for the info. I've never seen myself on TV, but I know I've been on C-SPAN a few times. This will be my chance to get caught on film with a beer in hand.
