We are proud to announce that we have started construction of our GT-2 350Z.
This is a full tube frame car for the SCCA National Series as well as some endurance races. Our full 100% fiberglass body is enroute and the the engine development already started. At the end of this season we will retire the 300ZX.
We will post developments and pictures as we release them. Fro competitive reasons will will not release engine specs. But this will have a ton of horsepower and torque.
Regards

Thanks
GT-2 has gained momemtum again. We finished in the top 10 last year at the runoffs and we are running in the North Atlantic Road Racing Championship in October at Lime Rock. Thne into full development of the new car. In 2005 GT-2 may be increased to a 400+ Hp class. There is also discussions of a mini trans am series to run with the Gt-1 series.

Paul- Since I was "pitted" next to you (just outside the Nissan tent at the Runoffs) last year, I was wondering when you and James would swap to the 350Z body. Now you're building a whole new car! What will become of the Z32? Are you building the chassis in-house, or having someone else do it?
As for my 350Z project, I'm looking at converting an existing GT3 chassis over to 350Z bodywork. Unfortunately, my research keeps pointing to a lack of funds to build and maintain a competitive VQ V-6. Not only that, but reality keeps interrupting when I examine the components that will need to be upgraded for GT2. Don't get me wrong- this will be an expensive and challenging proposition to bring to life in any case. If we get this project off the drawing board, my 350Z will probably remain in GT3 (where it probably has a better chance at success and won't TOTALLY drive me into the poor house).

We build our own chassis. But in this case and to get a headstart on the 05 season, we are starting with the main part of the Z32. The front clip and rear sesion will be all new. We are taking more weight out of the car and have to reconfigure for the VQ as well.
We were also invited to run a few endurance races - so we are adding a larger fuel cell and making a quick fill. We are getting rid of the older hub assemblies and going to very very light ones. We have some great sponsors so there is big relief on the expenses. The day after the North Atlantic Road Racing Championship we start removing stuff and start building. The VQ blocks are on the way so we can have all the engines ready for bench dyno time in January and testing in February. Did you make the runoffs this year?
