Ive read that these springs give a pretty big drop. How much of a drop will these springs give me? Will i run into any camber issues? i want to drop my car by using springs with the factory shocks. i dont want coilovers or to roll my fenders. Any information is appreciated!
I am running the Tanabe's on my car. The springs will lower your car 1 inch in the front and 1.25 in the rear. I love the way my car sits with them on. The car sits perfect with no gap on 19's. No rubbing either. Bad camber, so you'll need a camber kit.
I have the springs, its bad camber in the rear. The fronts on mine are absolutely fine. Fairlady, what offsets are you in rear? I'm going to be running +19 out back on 10.5" ..do you think I'll rub?
Right now I'm on 9.5" rears no problems.

That is good news about the front. The back camber is easily taken care of with the some of the camber arms and toe bolts that are out there, the fronts are a different story.
BTW- I'm diggin the white and gold, good work.

I dont know about actually having to have a camber kit with the Tanabe GF210 springs. I have had them for about 3 months and just got my alignment done. Heres my before and after results. The after results are within Nissan spec. I was very surprised. Just be aware it is low. I have shown the rear only since the front was on point and needed no adjustment.
Before:
Left Rear: Camber -2.33
Toe 1.7mm
Right Rear: Camber -2.39
Toe 5.0mm
After:
Left Rear: Camber -1.44
Toe 0.6mm
Right Rear: Camber -1.51
Toe 0.6mm
Max camber to be in spec is -2.05 rear camber and 1.0mm toe.
As you can see I am with in spec. You can cross reference correct camber specs here on the site.
The extra camber before alignment was nice. It made the car seem more stable, but at the cost of tire wear.

Is camber specific based on cars, or does the fact that we have the same springs/car mean that our specs will be the same? I haven't gotten mine aligned yet..should be sometimes this week.
What did yours cost you for a two wheel alignment? I'm happy that I can save money on the camber kit...
Slammed is the way to go.

No, I didnt have a two wheel alignment. It was a 4 wheel alignment. The alignment was done at a dealership for $70. I didnt post the front alignment results cause there was no change made. If you are curious the Max spec for the front is -1.8 and mine was -1.6. The front camber is not adjustable(Needs adjustable upper A-arms). As goes for the Z32's as well.
I also know a few people that have the Tanabe GF and have Volks with a 19x10.5 rim running a 315/30/19 on the rear and have no rubbing. Also they didnt have to roll the fenders either. In the front they had 19x9.5 wrapped in 275/35/19. The stance was awesome. I just wished he would disclose his offsets.

You read my mind, that was my next question. I plan on SF Winnings +19F and +19 rear with 245F/275R KDWs, that should work right?
As for running SF Winnings in +19 for the front and rears. I've never seen that setup before. Most people run +19 front and +17 rear on 9.5 and 10.5. That particular setup I know rubs in the rear. I'm basing this on what I've heard from other members.
Cool--
Actually since I already have the Tanabes installed, I'm wondering if the Winnings in +17 rear (10.5" width) will fit without rolling the fenders.
If I do roll the fenders, I could technically go with a very agressive set of tires right? Like 315 rear and 295 or something in front?
Do you guys have any advice on that? TIA.

Well I just bought a 350 Track. And this car is low. I think it is the Tanabe. Just like what you are saying. Actually a fellow member thought this also. Fairlady love the car man with the rims. Beautiful.
