Hello everyone. Just wanted to let you all know that we are taking pre-orders on the stop-tech 1 piece brembo rotors that are coming out soon.
check out our site:

so just how are these different than the current stoptech 2 piece aero rotors for the brembos?

are they heavier?
are they not hollowed out with air vents in the middle?
any pictures comparing the two?

they're heavier than the stock brembo rotors? Or did you mean the 2 piece stoptech rotors that are already out?
how much heavier?
From what I understand, using the 2 piece stoptech rotors on front and rear are a total of 10lbs lighter overall than the 4 stock brembo rotors
how do these compare?

They are a little heavier than the 2-piece, but cheaper. Same cooling design.
This isn't the case. I don't think I gave Jason enough info!

Here's the deal: The 2-piece rotors are essentially the same as what is found in our big brake kits. They are our patented AeroRotor design, with special internal cooling vanes. They are fully floating, and allow for expansion when heated. These parts are the same as what is found on the the Grand Am Cup and World Challenge race cars. They have significant weight savings, and cool much better than anything else out there. They are ideal for someone that wants max performance out of their brake system...particularly someone that uses them very hard (canyon driving, or a racetrack).
The new one piece parts are a straight vane, vented, one piece rotor. They do not have our patented vane design. They will have a black painted hat to prevent corrosion, and are more similar to the direct replacement rotors we sell for the base model Z's. They will weigh about the same as the stock track model rotors. They are a cost-effective option to buying the expensive OEM replacement rotors from Nissan, which are about $395 each. They are of high quality and will get the job done. They just won't have the performance capabilities of the 2-piece design...then again, they also cost much less.
Hopefully that clears it up!
Looks like a good replacement combo would be to run these 1pc rotors in the front, and the 2pc in the back (to help reduce rotational weight).
