Help: Shopping for Brake Pads/Lines
Hey guys,
I need to replace my brake pads, and so I thought I might as well upgrade the lines as well. For steel-braided brake lines, I know stoptech has an application for our cars. What others are there with a 350z specific application (I dont' want to have to cut/fit). Also, I know the Hawk pads are pretty popular, but has any one tried the EBC green-stuff pads? Any feedback/comparisons? Finally, where have you found the best deals on pads/lines ? Do any of the forum vendors stock/sell these parts (all I ever see on the classifieds are full brake kits or rotors)? I think I remember seeing (a while back) that one of the shops sold as a package the 4 pads, 4 steel-braided lines and Motul brake fluid, but I can't remember who it was. Has anyone seen a package like this? Any help/feedback is welcome. Thanks.

Back when I got my Z, the dust drove me crazy. At the time Stillen had the only Front and rear pads for NON-BREMBO cars, so I got those. While on the phone with them they offered me the SS lines for a great price and I bought them. This setup has worked great. The SS lines were a straight bolt on (They aren't "Stillen" brand, they just resell them).
Now I am shopping for pads (26,500 miles). I found an eBay store with Haw HPS pads (again, NON-BREMBO) for $110 shipped (front and rear). They advertise the BREMBO pads but they carry the non-brembo pads as well.
Here is the link to the Brembo pads. email him for the non-brembo

Thanks for the offer but I want aftermarket pads so I don't have to deal with the brake dust issue any more, plus I need all four.

I just emailed him and his reply was that he will get another set in the next week and put them up for auction. I guess to many people have emailed him about it and he is up for making money.
I think he gets a few sets and they sell on "Buy Now" price when he posts them. If you see the "brembo" ones they don't get bids but buy-it-now until they run out.
For low dust, the Stillens have worked well. I would buy them again but want to give the Hawks a try just because.
