Default installed camber arms car sits higher

Just installed my SPC camber arms and bolt. Alignment is horrible so i'm taking it today to get hooked up. The rear of my car sits about 1/2 in higher then it did.
why?

Likely becasue you jacked the car up... you need to drive around on the suspension to settle it again.

typically, when a car has a lot of negative camber it tucks the tops of the wheels, and makes it look lower. you probably fixed the camber a little bit by installing the arms, so it gives the illusion of being higher.

i typically adjust the rear of my car to sit lower before an alignment. after the alignment, it looks level.

exactly thats what I'll do. it just took me back alittle bit. And yes i found out the springs settle in the basic tuning for dummies class. can't wait to get my alignment right now my car feels like a wet noodle

Yes they are good quality, along with their toe bolts your rear alignment should be ok even with a 1.5" drop. I have them and Im lowered probobly almost 2" and Im barely out of rear camber spec. www.iapdirect.com

The camber actually conceals the true ride height drop, the wheel sit like this with camber // \\ so obviously when you correct the camber and it will be in a more upright position [] [] The sidewall that was turned in will now be sitting in a flatter upward position and the bottom or the wheel will be pulled in more, creating a more proper contact patch.

I dunno if this will make sense...
